Max van den Burg
Do you know that feeling? That you’re sometimes a bit stuck in your comfortable, super-cosy little life? Where everything is so pleasant and safe, but also so predictable?
Sofa. Slippers. Remote control. Air fryer. Satisfyer. Everything comfortable. Everything sorted. Everything insured. But where has the adventure gone? Where is real life?
In his latest show, Max drags you out of your comfort zone on ‘slippers on speed’. With recognisable characters, musical time travel, spot-on impressions and personal stories, he takes you down the rabbit hole of modern life, where everything revolves around comfort and convenience, but nothing is quite what it seems. Relatable, musical, imaginative and unfiltered cabaret, with a pleasantly abrasive Brabant edge.
In recent years Max has been best known for his online ‘B&B Vol Liefde’ impressions, but as a versatile cabaret performer and showman he is at his absolute best in the theatre.
Will it be cosy? Definitely! ‘Maxikozi’.
