Puur de Nijs

Puur de Nijs has been paying tribute to Rob de Nijs since 2022. Now that Rob is unfortunately no longer with us since 16 March 2025, this theatre performance has gained even more value.

Many fans of Rob de Nijs have already been allowed to attend the performance in the Netherlands. After two fantastic theatre tours with many sold-out theatres, PURE DE NIJS is back with a new performance in the 2026-2027 season.

Of course, Marcel Mulders and his 5-piece band play the most beautiful songs, and singer Marcel also shares fun stories about the Netherlands' greatest artist, sometimes with a touch of humor and a personal twist. Also enjoy beautiful video footage that is shown during various songs.

Enjoy classics like ‘Mallebabbe', ‘Sunday’ and ‘It was summer’. But also new songs such as‘What if later is now ’ and some surprising songs written by Rob's fellow artists.

Do not expect a look-a-like/ sound-a-like from Rob; it is an ode to Rob de Nijs, interpreted in a respectful way. All songs are taken from life and recognizable and that creates a special connection among the people and that can be felt in the room.
