“We play, you sing”. Popup Choir is not a traditional concert, cabaret or musical theater. This is a fully interactive evening where the audience is the artist. With quick jokes, sharp improvisation and especially the wow feeling of singing together. Anyone can do this, even if your voice sounds like a rasp.

Tijmen de Koning and Maarten Bos take you on a musical, boisterous evening in which you are the center. The men make you laugh, move and teach you to sing one song majestically in harmony with the entire audience. Forget running, yoga or pills, this is the dopamine kick you need to feel good.

Sing your heart out in a theater full of other music lovers with the music of Queen. Unleash the inner Freddie within you. You learn one song in harmony with the audience and the other half of the evening you roar along with all those other hits. Come with your buddies, your lover or your mother. Or just enjoy yourself.

Since 2017, many tens of thousands of people have come closer together through Popup Choir by simply singing. Friends and strangers, boundaries fade as we make our voices heard together.

After sold-out shows in Carré, Paradiso, the Concertgebouw and the main stage of Lowlands, Popup Choir is now also with us.
