How do you become a parent? Barbara Sloesen and Joost Hofman try to answer that question – both practical and existential – in a theatre show. And becoming a parent doesn't just happen by itself. It happens during a fertility treatment in Belgium, during nine months of pregnancy, while friends move out of the city, while getting excited about supermarket bonus offers, and while spending your child's first week between hope and fear in the intensive care unit of the AMC. And then, suddenly, you are one: a parent. With love, but no instruction manual. With questions, but no answers yet. A theatre show with humour, confrontations and songs.
