About the band

Lovers Rock | The line-up consists of vocals (Mindy Broeren-Martosoedjono), keyboards (Bob Kuijl), saxophone (Peter Lieberom), guitar (Danny Maaskamp), bass (Hidde Roorda), drums (Remco van der Sluis) and percussion (Martin Verdonk): together they create a warm, layered sound in which subtlety and groove are central. A powerful ode to Sade's repertoire, with audible craftsmanship, musical detail and a deep love for the original. The band not only brings the songs, but also the atmosphere, tension and refinement that makes Sade's music so recognizable.
