With his own songs that have been covered by colleagues such as Ricky Skaggs and Kenny Rogers and an encyclopedic knowledge of the American song culture, he is a much -sought after musician. In Texas he has his own festival: Waltstock & Barrel. He regards the Netherlands as his second home country, since he played here for the first time in 2008, then together with Sam Baker.

Also from the start a loyal companion and skilled accompanist on the guitar is Bill Small, who also writes beautiful songs himself. Bill has been playing in bands from his teenage years in New Jersey and has been living in Texas for about 15 years, in the artist's place Wimberley, where he is full -time with music and coaching.

Bart de Win, who teaches during the week at the Conservatoria of Rotterdam and Utrecht, you might know from his own band Tip Jar, or from Matthews Southern Comfort, the band around Engelsman Iain Matthews. It is also possible that you have seen Bart perform with, among others. Birds of Chicago, Kevin Welch, Richard Lindgren or Sam Baker.

But above all, Walt, Bill and Bart have been working intensively for 12 years, both on stage and in the studio. The three musicians are therefore a close and completely attuned team.
