After three concept shows focusing on a musical style (Are You Ready For The Country) and a creative region (San Francisco City Trip & Los Angeles City Trip), Her Majesty returns to basics: a tribute to a leading artist or band.

This season, Her Majesty is putting the spotlight on Neil Young with the programme Neil Young & Crazy Horse. The band that was there from the very start. And right to the end. The musicians with whom it clicked from the very first note and who were responsible for the raw, distinctive style so cherished by Neil Young fans all over the world.

The records Neil Young made with Crazy Horse are among his best work. Think of Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, for example: his second album and his first with Crazy Horse, featuring the cracking tracks Down By The River, Cinnamon Girl and Cowgirl In The Sand. Or what about After The Goldrush, Zuma and Tonight’s The Night? Classics, every one of them, made by driven and versatile musicians under the inspiring leadership of the master himself.

Her Majesty focuses on Neil Young’s 1970s output with Crazy Horse, although they don’t rule out straying from the beaten track. After all, Her Majesty has set itself the goal of bringing out, in its own idiosyncratic way, the unpredictability and stubbornness of one of the very greatest singer-songwriters of the past sixty years. And, as always, with a guaranteed nostalgic night out in sound and vision.
