Juf Roos and Gijs are coming to the theatre with a cheerful new adventure full of music, humour and familiar moments. In this quintessentially Dutch family show they have a madcap adventure in the Dutch countryside. Juf Roos would love a holiday in her own country, but along the way Gijs finds a lost little dog. That is the start of a jolly adventure which eventually leads them to Aunt Tulp’s farm. But where has Aunt Tulp got to, and whose little dog is it?
During this interactive show, children and their (grand)parents are invited again and again to sing along, think along and join in. Together with Juf Roos and Gijs, they bring the adventure step by step to a happy ending. Expect lots of well-known songs, cheerful moments and a joyful celebration of the familiar, with young and old singing along at the tops of their voices.
Juf Roos has been a huge audience favourite for years, with more than 100,000 theatre tickets sold, and was the first Dutch children’s show ever to be awarded a VVTP Diamanten Ticket.
The show is suitable for children aged 2 and up.
