Pippi en de Piraten (6+)
From September 2026, Theater Terra presents its new family show Pippi en de Piraten, an adventurous musical full of humour, imagination and spectacular moments. When Pippi Longstocking receives a message in a bottle from her father, Captain Ephraim Longstocking, she discovers he is being held captive by the notorious pirates Bloed Barend and Messen Jochem.
They hope he will lead them to a hidden treasure. For Pippi there is only one solution: rescue her father. Together with her best friends Tommy and Annika, Pippi sets off on a journey full of unexpected twists. With an airbed, a home-made aeroplane and a good helping of nerve, they cross
seas and islands in search of the mysterious pirate island of Taka-Tuka. Along the way they have the wildest adventures, meet pirates and keep coming up with new plans to outwit their enemies.
When Pippi finally reaches the pirates’ stronghold, a thrilling game of cat and mouse begins. With her enormous strength, clever tricks and indestructible optimism, she manages to defeat even the most dangerous pirates. But will she also succeed in freeing her father and getting home safely with Tommy and
Annika?
Pippi en de Piraten is an imaginative family show for everyone aged 6 and up, full of music, humour and adventure, based on Astrid Lindgren’s beloved stories. In Theater Terra’s distinctive style, puppetry, music and spectacular design come together in a joyful theatrical adventure for the whole family.
