Plankton & Feikes Huis
In a dazzling duet between man and the environment, the 200,000-year history of our species on earth is told. From the discovery of fire to the extinction of this dominant animal species: everything is covered in this tragicomic, visual performance full of inventive theater tricks and unexpected twists. The third player – the human – tries to get a grip on that world. But the greater the urge for control, the more things go wrong. A tree stump breaks in half, a fall through the mountain landscape takes away half the scenery, and even the velvet theater curtain is not spared. What follows is an inevitable chain reaction of failure – hilarious and moving at the same time. With playful humor the soloist is removed from the pedestal and made part of the ensemble again.
