With a band name that nods to the city of Mouscron (Moeskroen), a Flemish frontman and a deep love of the good Burgundian life, the lads tell the story of Pater Moeskroen through classics from Belgium's rich pop history. What does that sound like?
Well-known classics and hidden gems get a makeover all of their own: from Raymond van het Groenewoud to Clouseau, from Urbanus to Milow and even K3, everything gets that unmistakable Pater Moeskroen sound. Expect a sparkling mix of folk, melancholy and merriment, laced with Celtic influences and delivered by born musicians who switch effortlessly between an impressive arsenal of instruments. The more understated chansons of Jan de Wilde, Johan Verminnen and Will Tura, among others, also have their place in this warm and varied show.
