The Dutch Wind Ensemble yearns, whispers, cries and moves with Berlioz's Powerful Women. In La Mort de Cléopâtre, Cleopatra, a charismatic and fearless woman, chooses suicide over captivity, thus taking her fate into her own hands.

These masterfully instrumented compositions have been broken into a thousand pieces by the creative German composer Kathrin Denner and then rebuilt into a spectacular wind instrument especially for the NBE.
