Wonka Comedy Festival 23. May – 1. june
From Friday, May 23 to Sunday, June 1, five theaters from the Brainport region are organizing a new edition of the Wonka Comedy Festival (Laugh Together) . A festival in which comedy plays the leading role, and this year in no fewer than nine different languages. For 10 days in the various theaters there will be performances by comedians in Dutch, English, Polish, Turkish, Surinamese, Greek, Slavic, Ukrainian and French. The Wonka Comedy Festival is the result of the Wonka Podia: a successful collaboration between Parktheater Eindhoven, Kattendans Bergeijk, Theater de Schalm Eindhoven, Theater de Hofnar Valkenswaard and Het Speelhuis Helmond.

Wonka School Tour 2025
From Monday, May 19 to Friday, June 27 is the third Wonka School Tour. For this edition, Theater Artemis from Den Bosch plays the ‘Voorstelling waarin hopelijk niets gebeurt’ for thousands of elementary school children from group 5 and 6. This amazing, aburdist performance will be rerun especially for Wonka Podia.
Wonka Week van de Toegankelijkheid 2025
This year is National ‘Week van de Toegankelijkheid’ (Accessibility) from Oct. 6 to 12.
The Wonka Podia are also hosting several activities during this week, focusing on accessibility.

In 2023 organiseerde Wonka Podia voor de eerste keer een grote scholentournee in de regio samen met jeugdtheater Wildpark en de buitenvoorstelling ‘De monteur en het meisje’. Een pracht van een cultuurcadeau voor alle basisscholen (groep 5/6) in de ‘Wonka gemeentes’!
Dit zeer geslaagde cultuureducatieproject krijgt een vervolg in 2024 met Maas Theater en Dans en de voorstelling ‘WieDeedHet’.
